The concept behind Salsamenteria Verdiana is to rediscover a different way of dining and savoring food, not just for satisfying nutritional needs, but also as an enjoyable pastime and cultural experience. Salsamenteria Verdiana serves the best preserved meats, prepared dishes, cheeses and wines of the area around Parma, foods whose quality is not only certified and fully traceable, but which are also part of history itself.
Each product boasts a long tradition and to this day is still prepared as in the past, methods that take time and are passed on from father-to-son.
Eating is a question of culture and an expression of our vitality; the portions are abundant and well-presented to please the eye as well as the palate.
Salsamenteria Verdiana restaurants are decorated in the style of the old “salsamenterie”, or delicatessens, of the late-1800s, where the strains of Maestro Giuseppe Verdi accompany each meal. An informal, relaxed meal to be enjoyed with friends, sampling the traditional wholesomeness and goodness of the foods served. Cooking of the Emilia region is succulent, enriched with the influences of the courts of many countries with which this territory came into contact. A tradition that has been maintained over the centuries, also thanks to the abundance of the land and the industriousness of its people.
Thorough and in-depth research and forecasts into trends in the food sector and meals eaten away from home has shown that eating meals out is an established practice and one that is undergoing marked growth. Salsamenteria Verdiana is a locale with a young atmosphere that meets the needs of even the most demanding customers.
Our goal is to offer everyone the opportunity to taste the specialties of Emilia cuisine—fine cured meats and cheeses accompanied by good wine—all within a late-19th century setting with the operatic masterpieces of Maestro Giuseppe Verdi playing in the background.

B&B S.r.l. will assist the franchiser in all aspects of activity: from searching and selecting the right location, to adapting an existing restaurant, learning the management formula, creating and launching the locale, and managing it on a day-to-day basis.
B&B S.r.l. will provide the franchiser with the best supply conditions, continuous introduction of new products on the basis of seasonal availability and always in line with consumer preferences and expectations; on-going promotional support will also be offered.
